Founder & Educator — Al-Fahim Quran Academy

Mohd Fahim Ul Zaman Al Qasmi's academic journey began with the study and memorization of the Holy Qur’an, which laid the foundation for his continued pursuit of Islamic and academic knowledge. Alongside his early formal education at Al-Maarif Public School, Jammu & Kashmir, he pursued formal Islamic studies at Jamia Markaz-ul-Maarif, Jammu & Kashmir.

His pursuit of knowledge later led him to Darul Uloom Waqf Deoband, where he completed his Alimiyyah and Fazilat studies. Alongside his Islamic education, he continued his academic studies, earning his Graduation from the University of Jammu and an M.A. in Arabic from Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Hyderabad. He subsequently completed Takhassus fi al-Ifta, a specialization in Islamic Jurisprudence and Fatwa.

Throughout this journey, the Qur’an, Islamic sciences, and Arabic language have remained central to his academic and teaching pursuits. His education has brought together traditional Islamic scholarship, Arabic studies, and modern academic learning, shaping his approach towards teaching in a simple, structured, and meaningful manner.

His journey of learning and teaching inspired the vision of creating an educational platform where access to Qur’anic and Arabic education would not be limited by distance or location.

Al-Fahim Quran Academy

Al-Fahim Quran Academy is an initiative born from this vision, founded by Mohd Fahim Ul Zaman Qasmi as an online educational platform dedicated to Qur’anic and Arabic education.

Its purpose is simple yet meaningful: to make quality Qur’anic education accessible to anyone, anywhere—especially to those living far from traditional educational institutions who wish to learn the Qur’an correctly, improve their Tajweed, understand its meanings, or develop a foundation in Arabic.
